A Saturday Cruise

On Saturday we went for a winter cruise. The water was beautiful, the sky was blue and the boat was tired of sitting in storage! It felt great to get out on the water again, and it made me excited for summer to come. I guess I'm a little early, as it's not even spring yet!

Looking towards Canada.

Little Mr. catching some zzzzs.

He sleeps and naps without the paci when we are at home, it's a special treat for when we are out and about.

Looking towards the San Juan islands. Snow capped mountains in the far back, then islands in the center and a bank of fog in front of them. We didn't venture through the fog, it was really thick. We had quite the beautiful cruise though and got to explore different waters than we would usually see, including Boundary Bay and the Point Roberts area.

Click here, to see a much older version of this photo blogged here. It was taken on our first boat ride as three, and my how my little boy has grown! He is just about too tall for napping in the bouncy seat, and definitely too active to sit in it while at home because he sits up now.

Mt. Baker

Baker and Semiahmoo.

Little Mr. takes over the wheel for the first time. Our little captain!
