Busy, Busy, Busy!

I'm going to take a blog break! Our Bible conference in Richmond, BC is this weekend and preparations are making me very busy. Although I am not as busy as others who are planning more major areas of the conference, I am still busy! Over the weekend, we went snowboarding up at Mt. Baker with Dave and Heather as well as Mr. and Mrs. Crazy Hair Dude. It was a beautiful day and we had a really good time. On Lord's day, we went to Marysville for their all day meeting, and had a really nice time as well. Today it has been hailing off and on, Drooler and his mommy came over and we went to Costco to buy all the food for the Young People sings each night. We also locked the keys in the car, were very glad to have AAA, and went to Walmart and TJMax. Tomorrow is house cleaning and laundry day in preparation for guests as well as making 4 dozen cookies for the hospitality room at conference. Wednesday we have a guy coming to work on the house around 8 am, my youngest sister is flying into Abbotsford airport at 8 am, and I am picking up somewhere between 15-20 gallons of ice cream from Edaleen dairy in Lynden to take to the conference. All day there is food preparation at the meeting room, then there is our regular prayer meeting that night. Thursday, I plan to spend time with my sister and hopefully rest, but it will most likely be a day of shopping. We also have a piano tuner coming to the house in the afternoon, since the allotted settling in the house time for our "new" piano is over. Thursday evening all the guests arrive, there is supper and prayer at the meeting room, and then conference starts! Busy busy busy.

Oh yeah, and when we were in Bellingham today we totally forgot to buy 25 L of pop. So that's another stop along the way somewhere!

PS: It's Wednesday and everything seems to be going ok. I am getting very excited! Droolers Mommy went out and bought a ton of pop so we are totally done buying our groceries. Oh and ioi pointed out tonight at prayer meeting that it would have been pretty difficult to buy 25 L of pop anyways. I meant 25 BOTTLES of pop. (Smacks forehead...)
