Little Mr. Visits the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

Rows of beautiful, vibrant red tulips against a backdrop of snowy mountains is a neat sight.

An entire field of daffodils in full bloom is stunning.  From afar it reminded me of the canola fields of Saskatchewan where I grew up.

Little Mr. and myself.

A family portrait.

When the sun was low the tulips were on fire with light.  These are my favorite flower shots of the day because the colors are so bright and you can see the sun shining through the petals of the tulips.

Have you ever seen the tulips at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival?  I highly suggest it if you have not!

    1. Thank you Lisa. :)

I think it lasts until the tulips stop blooming? Oh.... the official date on the website says "April 1-30, Bloom dates according to mother nature."
