The rehersal, and a home away from home.

Everyone was on time, nothing was forgotten, Patty organized and everyone listened to her, so my Aunt's rehearsal went so well! Patty even brought fake rings so everyone could practice for real. It was fun, and I don't think I have ever had fun at a wedding rehersal, as they are usually kind of stressful! There was a lot of laughing and joking going on.

Jeff has this beautiful arbor/pergola in his yard. I just love it.

The flowers looked amazing. There were tons of barrels full of flowers, hanging baskets and flowers along the walkways.

Compare those gems! Isn't her ring beautiful? It's a pressure set diamond- no claws!

Sisters. Patty brought the flowers so they could practice holding bouquets.

This was where we went for the rehearsal dinner. I think it was called Bella Italia. It was such a fancy Italian restaurant and the bazillion courses of food were amazing. We were there for hours and left way too full. WAY too full. And tired, as we had left pretty early in the morning.

We stayed at Tim and Robynn's and when you stay there you instantly feel at home. There is something about a Christian home that is so comforting. Robynn placed soft towels, chocolates and a purse sized hand cream in the room for us and I thought it was so thoughtful. Here it should have been my job to leave a hospitality gift behind for Robynn, and instead she greeted me with one! Thank you so much.

Sleep felt so good! Especially in a beautiful room like this. Although I think it was around 3 am before The Mr. and Tim ended their chatting downstairs. I am glad I went to bed when I did, because having energy for the next day was really important!
