Today's Playdate

We walked there and it was lovely.  Everyone got along at the playdate and I met some very nice moms.  I am so thankful for MOMS Club!

Here are the photos I snapped this morning during our walk to and from the Playspace at the Boys and Girls Club here on Saint Simons Island.  I did snap some photos at the playdate, but just to be careful, I won't post them here out of respect for the other families.  Just imagine an indoor play area like McDonalds or as is commonly found here, Chick-fil-A, swarming with cute kiddos.

 Amazingly gorgeous moss draped trees.

 Looking straight up.

On the way home I had one boy napping and one boy snacking. We ate lunch when we got home and then both boys went down for a LONG nap.  Little Brother didn't eat lunch though, he went straight to bed! :)

Sweet Sweet Little Brother.

I know it has been quite a while since I have blogged, but have no fear!  I've been sitting here uploading, sorting and cropping photos at the same time as loving the quiet time while my two boys sleep.  Ahhhh, such peace!  I do miss them a little by the end of nap time though, and just  a minute ago I heard a rustle come from the bedroom so I think the quiet is soon to come to an end... and I won't be sad.  It will be time for snacks and book reading and lining little metal cars and plastic animals up in perfect rows.  It is so fun here in our little home on Saint Simons Island.  We are finding that we can live just perfectly fine here and are quite enjoying it!  I think our time here is going to go quickly and before we know it, we'll be back with our friends and family in Washington state.

There should be lots of updates to come, and please excuse the possibly random order that they may come in, as I am not planning on posting chronologically. ;)

    1. It's pretty cool to move from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. And to still be within walking distance!

  3. Hmm, taking pictures with a iphone or ipad? You held it the wrong way as some are sideways unless I'm seeing things. Nice new scenery to photograph eh!

    1. Nope, used my camera. Something really really strange is happening. All day yesterday and today the photos were correctly positioned, and just now when I loaded the blog, some of them were stretched weird and sideways. Very odd! Trying to fix it now.

    2. I fixed them. It looks like some sort of automatic editing software got confused. I'm tired of programs thinking they are smarter than real people... leave my photo edits alone please Google!
