Yes, you read right! Today is a great day to be reading my blog because it's giveaway time! I was contacted by a member of the promotions team at AllModern.com with the opportunity to host a giveaway for their site. What a cool offer that was, and of course I didn't turn them down because I wouldn't dare take away the chance for one of my readers to win something from their store. AllModern is a great place to find contemporary furniture and decor and even if you don't call your decorating style "contemporary", in my opinion there is something on the site for everyone. Those of you who are parents or grandmas or aunts should check out their kids bedding sets, they are adorable!
I got to search the site and choose some items to give away and at first I thought it was going to be really difficult to narrow it down and make a choice. But when I saw that they had dishes, it was an easy decision as I am a sucker for dishes!

ReplyDeleteI think my favorite Fall decorating is still clipping a branch with beautiful colored leaves and either putting it in a vase or just laying it on the table and scattering votives around it. Looks great all season and seems to just get prettier with time!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of fall decorating is how much it reminds me of our wedding. Since we had a "fall" theme with leaves on the aisle instead of flower petals and sunflowers and brown and orange and all the beautiful fall things...I have lots left over to decorate with each fall. Yeah for fall decor!
Nice dishes!! If i win them i'll give them to HOlly. LOL ok, maybe not. We'll see. I'm not a huge fan of the colour options actually! You know how much i love blue :) NOT!

OOoooohhh....how exciting! I love the dishes! For fall, I like to have the kids pick some pretty fall leaves and scatter them around on the table for a nice dinner.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall decoration is my dog sleeping at the foot of the bed. She stays outside all summer. So I know it's fall when we bring her inside.

Decorating? What's that?! =) My decoration consists of changing the ribbon on the wreath on my door ... if I get around to it. But I Totally love looking at what other people do!!
ReplyDeleteWe make window decorations out of paper or plastic shrink wrapped leaves. I guess it's time to move on to that project now though. BTW, I like the blue dishes best - they're so much more vibrant than the others.
ReplyDeleteThis year I'm decorating with a ceramic pumpkin that Bug painted. It's eyes are dripping spookily... I sorta like it. :)

I am currently in love with decorative, colorful corn cobs, and baskets full of gourds, and my autumn leafy tablecloth, and candles and pumpkins pretty much everything autumn. These dishes would make a lovely addition to my autumn decor. :-)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall decoration are pumpkins as they last a long time and we don't have to wait for the leaves to change (as they don't do for a while here in LA) to feel like it is really fall.

GREAT dishes! Lately, I've had the idea of using all my hoarded Costco sweet-pickle jars as decor...paint the lid, and put leaves inside, or a (not too small) photo, or some of those spiky, spiny chestnut things. PS - Brooke's wedding decor was really cool.
