Drooler's Mommy invited me to share their thanksgiving meal and Lily and the rest of the C family graciously made room in their home for me and a few other "stragglers" and it was so nice! Yummy food, fun atmosphere and heart warming tradition. Lily decorates her home so beautifully for fall, each of the ladies bring enough food for an army, the Bible is read, games are played, YouTube videos are watched and the evening goes on. On days like this when families are gathering around fires and spending time together, what I miss most of all is my family back in Saskatchewan, Canada, so I am SO thankful when someone invites me to share in their family day and include me as one of their own.
Well, without further ado, enjoy a few of the snapshots from the day!
Baked pear, sweet potato pie (that Drooler's mommy made Gluten free just for me- how sweet is that?!)
Awe! We missed you too!!! Looks like you had some awesome food though. I think they'll fatten you up nicely without us around. I"M JUST KIDDING!! You have such wonderful friends to make you your own gluten free dishes!
