Kayaking in Wascana Lake

While in Regina, we kayaked in Wascana Lake. It was so much fun, and the first time I had ever tried kayaking. My mom took these photos from a bridge in the park. The Mr. and my dad had their own single kayaks, while my sister Kim and I shared, and Hosh and Jolly shared. It was a nice clear blue day and the water that accidentally splashed us felt great. I ended up with one whole side of my denim shorts completely wet, which I assure you looked great as I was shopping later with Kim. Isn't it normal for people that are shopping to have wet shorts? Hmmm.

Hosh and Jolly

Kim and I. You'd think we were white water rafting or something...

My dad is in the blue kayak. He had this goofy paddle that was assembled at the wrong angle and of course none of us offered to trade with him. He still paddled just as fast as the rest of us because he just figured out how to use what he had. That's my dad for yah!

While we were in the kayaks, mom pushed Kitten around in the stroller- thanks mom/grandma!
