One of my favorite birds- Bufflehead ducks. They are beautiful and can dive underwater for the longest time!
A plant that grows near water. These grow in sloughs in Saskatchewan where I grew up and my grandma always kept some in a huge urn. They were in the corner of her dining room and I am pretty sure they are still there today.
Rose hips. Cattails.
I don't know why, but I like this one. Something about the far away focus. It's almost like a bugs view.
Rose hips. Snowberry.
What a view! You take some great pictures - keep up the good work!!

ReplyDeleteAnna- You can paint any of my photos that you wish! It would be an honor. :) I don't need royalties!
ReplyDelete(Hmmm...or maybe I do.... I always wanted one of your paintings on my walls.....we could do a trade! You can steal all the photos you want from my site and eventually maybe paint ME a piece of art! ) ;)
Happy blogging birthday! Or is that just when you started recording when people visited your site? 12-13-06?
ReplyDeleteSarah- It is only when I started counting guests. It wasn't much later after I started the blog though! I think it would be interesting to go and see what I posted last year at this time.... I'm off to do so! Thanks for pointing that out!
ReplyDeleteI just went and read my "welcome" post, and it was written on the 11th of December 2006. Just a couple of days earlier.
