Breaking News: Petra Bailed out of Jail

One year ago today, we doled out cash to bring Petra home as part of our family. To celebrate her anniversary, we dolled out cash once again, this time to get her released from the shelter! The Lord answered our prayers and Petra is with us once again. She is her normal healthy energetic self and we are SO thankful. I knew it was her as soon as we saw her in the kennel, and I hadn't even seen her face yet. I was so relieved that I started crying and I was just so happy to have her back. She is being royally spoiled now of course! We wish she could talk so she could tell us all about her scary adventure. Or maybe it was a fun one?!

Since 10:30 last night, Petra has been lost. She either ran away or was taken, or maybe both. I was in the house when she went missing. She had been inside for a while and I let her out on her dog run to eat and use the bathroom. When I went back outside to see her around an hour later, she was gone. We have done all we can right now in the way of looking for her and posting notices but we know that the most powerful thing that we can do is pray. We would really appreciate your prayers as well. Petra is part of our family and it just won't be the same without her. We brought her home to be part of our family one year ago tomorrow and we are not ready to lose her this early.

That Pesky Forgotten Camera Cord

Hello friends! No, I have not forgotten that I have a blog. I just got back home after two and a half busy weeks away! Once I receive my camera cord in the mail from my mom, there should be lots of new photos to post and stories to tell! Thanks for being loyal blog readers no matter how bad this site gets neglected. :)
