Out on the Puget Sound

A week ago today it was sunny and blue. Sallad and Grace took The Mr. and I out for a day of boating on the Puget Sound. We launched at the Snohomish River in Everett and made our way out to the sound on water that was like glass! Boating in the Puget Sound is beautiful because there are mountains on all sides of you it seems and on a clear day they are so amazing. The snow capped peaks in contrast to the blue skies and blue water is breathtaking.

A barrier made of old wooden ships. There is quite a long line of them and I wonder about the history of each of these boats.

Grace took the next three photos. I just loved the cliff below. I bet they have an amazing view. It was so picturesque with the green grass dotted with black cows.

What a beautiful ending to a great day. Thanks Sallad and Grace!

  3. Hey! I found your blog! I know I've been here before. What a beautiful part of the country you live in! I miss the water. I grew up in Michigan (even though it is far from WA), you pics reminded me of the beautiful rural setting where I grew up. Thanks for your support on the blog. Cheers. and hugs. Good discussions over there..
